If you really want to mess up and/or empower your 6-year-old daughter for the rest of her life, treat her to a night of glorious abrasion courtesy of Sarah Silverman. While her (ahem) somewhat controversial jokes will make your gut burn with laughter, Silverman’s dual personality—oscillating between Zen-like playfulness and harsh cynicism—might boil your blood. Her thoughts on rape, racism, and rim jobs may have made her a modern goddess of both the screen and the stand-up circuit, but the schtick isn’t for everyone. But here at The A.V. Club, we couldn't be more excited for Silverman's appearance March 27 at Riverside Theater, which the venue announced this morning. Tickets are $32.50 and go on sale at noon Feb. 11.
