See Amy Sedaris for free on Sunday at Turner Hall
Aw, isn’t Amy Sedaris cute? We’re gushing over the anticipated adorability of her upcoming show Nov. 21 at Turner Hall. (Check out our interview here.) Sedaris made her name with her character Jerri Blank in Strangers With Candy, but she’s also a cupcake aficionado, a writer, and a seasoned domestic entertainer. In her book Simple Times: Crafts For Poor People, Sedaris draws on the current economy, offering instructions for inexpensive arts (“buy fruit, let it get old, and see what shapes it turns into”) and handy crafts (crab-claw roach clips, crepe-paper moccasins).
The A.V. Club wants you to join us at Turner on Sunday, so we’re giving away free tickets to Sedaris’ show. Just send an email to rsvpmilwaukee@theonion.com with “Sedaris” in the subject line.
