• Two Milwaukee theaters are collaborating on a show this month, reports the Journal Sentinel.
• A 200-room Marriott Hotel is on its way to being built near the southwest corner of E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Milwaukee St. in downtown Milwaukee.
• Local music blog Seizure Chicken handed out its 2010 Seizure Chicken Awards this week, naming Cactus Club the best venue and Call Me Lightning the best local band.
