Stephen Malkmus to play free show July 4 in Bay View
The ex-Pavement frontman will head up a street festival outside of Burnhearts

Yesterday Decider posted a rundown of free outdoor concerts taking place in Milwaukee this summer, and today we have a big edition: Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks will perform a free gig July 4 outside of Burnhearts in Bay View. The show will be presented as part of the Red, White & Blue Ribbon outdoor street festival organized by Pabst Blue Ribbon and The Pabst Theater.
Malkmus is only the first of many musical acts that will be part of this festival. You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled on Decider or become a Pabst T-member to keep up with the latest details and special offers. (We’ve heard rumors about some of the other acts, and the lineup looks to be pretty impressive.) In the meantime, you might want to keep your Independence Day open for loads of free music and $2 PBR.
