Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher of WMSE, Evan Rytlewski of the Shepherd Express, and Matt Wild of A.V. Club Milwaukee take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. The half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so titled because none of the sometimes cranky and ridiculous opinions expressed during the show represent those of the three hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon.
On this Very Special Episode of The Disclaimer, we share some our favorite negative comments and hate mail we’ve received over the years. Which one of us has been accused of “hating?” Which one of us has been called a “piece of sh*t” by an innovative young Milwaukeean? Which one of us has been trashed by a member of The Dandy Warhols? (Answer to all three: Matt.) Also on tap: semi-contentious lakefront development, very contentious bus stops at Southridge Mall, and an anonymous blog from 2007 that claimed one of the hosts was a terrible human being. (Matt again.) Fun!
