Colorado’s The Lumineers have been making joyful noise across the globe with a massive tour and an appearance on Conan O’Brien. Their self-titled debut album came out in early April, and they’ve been gaining momentum in the wake of their vivacious and engaging live shows, drawing comparisons to recent acts like Head And The Heart and Mumford And Sons with their acoustic roots sound. With impressive performances on some very big stages in 2012, including the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, many critics across the country are predicting this year may belong to The Lumineers.
Milwaukee will get its first look at The Lumineers when they come to the Pabst Theater Sept. 23. General admission tickets are $15 in advance, and $17 the day of the show. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 3 at noon, with a Facebook pre-sale beginning Wednesday, August 1. In the meantime, here’s that one song:
