Those postponed Van Halen tour dates are now officially cancelled
Back in May, a newly Diamond Dave-fronted Van Halen postponed more than 30 summer tour dates, with reports surfacing that the band was outta love. Again. Now, Ticketmaster is confirming that those dates have been officially cancelled, including stops in Baltimore, Detroit, Memphis, and Milwaukee. Refunds will be available at the point of sale.
The reason for the cancellations is unknown. A “source with knowledge” has claimed that the members of the group “hate each other,” while David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen have both chalked it up to fatigue (see delightfully ridiculous video below). Either way, it seems the band can’t finish what it started right now, which are both Sammy Hagar songs so never mind. [Rolling Stone]
