More Just Announced
It’s too bad that Summerfest won’t be open on July 4 in 2011, because the festival’s first announced headliner is perfectly suited for some Independence Day ass-kicking.
Instead, country star Toby Keith will perform July 1 at Marcus Amphitheater, officials announced this morning. Keith just released his 15th album, the self-explanatory Bullets In The Gun, but the prolific singer-songwriter—he’s released a record practically every year since 1993—could have another release by summer. Tickets go on sale Jan. 29 through Ticketmaster.
