TV’s Tony Plush, a.k.a. Nyjer Morgan, will amaze you

Our very own Milwaukee Brewers pulled off a terrific win last night in Arizona, topping the Diamondbacks 5-2 in extra innings. That victory was in large part due to Nyjer Morgan, a.k.a. Tony Plush, who batted in the go-ahead run. In case it wasn’t already apparent, we’re big fans of Plush here at The A.V. Club, and couldn’t be happier with his well-earned heroics. Any dude with a “gentleman alter ego” is okay by us.

But when he isn’t busy tweeting, “throwing up the ‘T,’” or flying kites (oh, and playing professional baseball), Morgan has also mastered the subtle art of the ridiculous postgame interview. True to form, his chat with Fox Sports Wisconsin last night was nothing short of incredible. Morgan’s segment only lasts a minute or so, but his enthusiasm could tide us over until 2012. Dig the part where he talks about staying in his “realmmm.”

Seriously, we could post everything this man does, and it still wouldn’t be enough.
