WAMI nominees announced
Because you can never have enough award programs honoring Wisconsin music-makers, the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (better known as WAMI) announced the nominees for its 30th anniversary awards show today, OnMilwaukee reports. As usual with this sort of thing, the nominees are a mixed bag of deserving honorees and headscratchers. (We'll let you distinguish which is which.) Here is a partial list of nominees. Artist of the Year: Cory Chisel; Fever Marlene; Bon Iver; Kings Go Forth; and Danny Gokey.
New Artist of the Year: New Dog Trick; WhiskeyBelles; Pezzettino; Carrie Melton; and Jeanna Salzer.
