The A.V. Club is sick and tired of waiting for the politicians in Washington D.C. to fix our sluggish economy. So we’ve decided to take the initiative and bolster the job market ourselves by hiring a part-time, assistant editor to work here in Milwaukee. So, if you read A.V. Club Milwaukee and you think you have what it takes to work here, we want to hear from you. Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Strong computer skills, with web publishing and website maintenance a huge plus
• Strong writing, editing/fact-checking, and organizational skills
• The ability to work well within an editorial team, but also have the initiative to be a self-starter
• Some experience, or a degree in, journalism, publishing, or a related field
