Gone, another in a recent crop of one-word-title thrillers, stars Amanda Seyfried as Jill Parish, who comes home from work to discover that her sister Molly has been abducted. While no one else believes her, Jill is pretty sure she remembers being left for dead in a hole of human remains by the same kidnapper a year earlier. Because, why would someone make that up? The cops don’t buy it, so she sets out on her own to save her sister before it’s too late.
