Win tickets to see Muse and Passion Pit at the Bradley Center
Muse
Here's a band that might actually be better in the city's biggest room: Like Queen before it, Muse made the move from ornate, orchestral glam to a grab bag of genres—the transition happening between 2003’s grandiloquent Absolution and 2006’s scattered Black Holes And Revelations. Perhaps predictably, the band split the difference on last year's The Resistance, a giddy amalgam of the band's previous grandiose sounds with disco, French pop, and symphonic superheroism. In other words, this is full-on, unabashed, way-way-over-the-top arena rock at its finest. It should sound pretty cool when the band plays Oct. 6 at the Bradley Center with Passion Pit. The A.V. Club is giving away tickets for this show; just send an email to rsvpmilwaukee@theonion.com with "Muse" in the subject line for your chance to win.
