Winnebago Man, Best Worst Movie playing at A.V. After Hours series at the Milwaukee Film Festival
Winnebago Man
Last fall, we spent a lot of time in late September and early October sitting in dark rooms and watching many of our favorite movies of the year at the Milwaukee Film Festival. The festival returns from Sept. 23 to Oct. 3 with another first-rate collection of features and short films from this country and around the globe; honestly, you’d have to attend a half-dozen of the world’s biggest film festivals to see all of the great stuff MFF has lined up this year. (We wish we could share the whole lineup with you, but you’ll have to wait to pick up your program Saturday at Made In Milwaukee.)
The A.V. Club is proud to be a sponsor of the Milwaukee Film Festival, and we’re just as proud to be presenting the A.V. After Hours series. As the title suggests, most of the films will be playing at midnight during the festival, though we also have several earlier movies for all the sleepy film fans out there. No matter when you come, we promise movies that are funny, silly, bloody, fascinating, and extremely entertaining.
