Just Announced Youth Lagoon to work out anxieties on stage, for you, on 2012 tour

There’s a believable sense of angst coursing through The Year Of Hibernation, the debut record by Boise-based singer/songwriter Trevor Powers, a.k.a. Youth Lagoon. Recorded in Powers’ bedroom, The Year Of Hibernation showed a musician at once consumed by and breaking through his own sense of isolation. Now Powers is kicking himself out of the bedroom with a lengthy late winter/early spring tour across the U.S. and Canada, including a stop in Milwaukee at Turner Hall April 5, 2012.

For a kid who, on both his record and in interviews, speaks candidly (and at length) about his own anxieties, this 2012 Youth Lagoon tour offers a chance for Powers to get onstage and shake out all those jitters.
