Formed in late 2010, Milwaukee’s Midnight Reruns have quickly become familiar faces on the local club scene, though their profile is due to get a healthy boost any day now. The band’s jangly, Replacements-esque guitar pop is instantly likable, and made even better with a charming, practiced sloppiness that keeps things remarkably fresh. Toss in the woozy, too-cool-for-school vocals from singer Graham Hunt, and the Reruns seem destined for more than just local weekday bills. The band recently released a terrific seven-song EP, Central Time.
