Carrot Top is many things to many people: prop comic, walking punchline, freakishly large weightlifting enthusiast, affront to good taste. It’s hard to imagine today, but there was a time when Top seemed poised for the crossover stardom that had eluded even prop-comedy king Gallagher. For the good of mankind, his 1998 big-screen vehicle Chairman Of The Board tanked, but Top has done just fine ever since, with a regular gig in Las Vegas and lucrative shows on the road.
