The chance to view half of electronic jam band Disco Biscuits at work is something in which only die-hard fans would take interest. But when DB’s bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner take it on the road as Conspirator, a similar electronically informed band, the sound is anything but halved, especially with the addition of RAQ guitarist Chris Michetti. And though the group’s catalog doesn’t run much deeper than 2005’s The Key, the band is more than willing to stretch and improvise songs into what seem like never-ending jams.
