You know how a lot of bands, even the really good ones, are sometimes lacking in the spectacle department? That’s definitely not a problem for Dead Man’s Carnival, a Milwaukee vaudeville group that works overtime to justify the door charge with live music, gymnastics, burlesque, juggling, clowns, fire tricks, comedy, and so-called “death-defying stunts” packed into a single, overstuffed performance. Originally known as Karnal: Ville, the Riverwest group shouldn’t even be compared to other local music acts—or other local acts of any kind, really.
