In hip-hop years, Milwaukee rapper Kid Millions is practically an old man. Millions—known off the mic as John Kuester—got his start back in the early '90s with 3’z Company, and he's remained an active presence as both a solo artist and collaborator with local musicmakers like J. Todd, Rusty P's, and Codebreaker. Kuester made his debut as Kid Millions with 2001’s Word Gets Around, and has since put out three full-length albums under that name, including this year's Recession Proof Rap. Speaking of Todd, he'll be performing here with Def Harmonic, which hasn't been active much lately but still comes out of hibernation for a couple of shows per year.
