Envisioning The Seen at The Pabst Theater

An interesting thing happened last year: More than a dozen local movers-and-shakers convened at the Pabst Theater for a roundtable discussion entitled “Remarkable Milwaukee.” Presented by Historic Milwaukee, the summit proved to be an invigorating rally cry for the city, focusing on current issues as well as pie-in-the-sky hopes for the future. The hybrid fireside chat/spitballing session continues tonight as a new all-star panel addresses the so-called “Milwaukee malaise”: Is Milwaukee too comfortable with the status quo to move forward? Tackling the question will be former parks director (and new Milwaukee Wave president) Sue Black, Wisconsin Foodie host Kyle Cherek, Milwaukee Film’s Jonathan Jackson, über-developer Barry Mandel, Still Waters Collective’s Dasha Kelly, and many more.
