In 2001, Eric Schlosser ruined the drive-thru for you with Fast Food Nation; as co-producer of director Robert Kenner’s Food, Inc., he’s about to do the same for the supermarket. Kenner’s investigative documentary delves deep into the corporations that produce the majority of everything we put in our mouths, exposing all the dark “secrets” you’ve willfully ignored—dangerous working conditions, harmful chemicals, genetic engineering, widespread obesity and disease—and bringing in sustainable food activists to propagate the theory that if you are what you eat, you should be dead any second now.
