Found Vs. Found at Landmark Oriental Theatre
If the Internet has taught us anything (and it hasn’t), it’s that everyone loves weird shit—the older and more obscure, the better. What’s the other thing the Internet loves? Arguments. Enter Found Vs. Found, a competition in which two giants in the invaluable field of arcane junk face off for bragging rights. In one corner, there’s the Found Footage Festival, which brought us such classic VHS tapes of random origin as “Jingle Cats” and “Enjoy Making Love Through Hypnosis.” In the other corner is Found magazine, which offers a lower-tech exhibition of strange photos and random, out-of-context notes. You know who wins? Everybody! (But realistically, “Jingle Cats” wins.)
