Gaelic Storm at The Pabst Theater
California-spawned outfit Gaelic Storm proclaimed its song “Kiss Me I’m Irish,” from its 2006 album Bring Yer Wellies, “the official St. Patrick’s Day theme song of 2007.” That’s a bit of overkill considering that the part-Irish, part-English, part-American crew is, well, about as authentic as a Celtic-fusion band realistically needs to be. That said, Gaelic Storm is a wild and exciting live act. For those who think Irish music doesn’t address drinking enough, you'll soon learn why Gaelic Storm is a fixture in these parts around St. Patrick's Day—even if you've seen them several times, you probably don't remember.
