The Get Down at Mad Planet
The Get Down has long been one of Milwaukee’s best dance parties, with DJs Andy Noble, Brent Goodsell, and company spinning ultra-rare and uber-funky 45s from the golden age of soul music. The Get Down celebrates its ninth anniversary tonight, and will be giving away free, limited edition compilation CDs—featuring cover art by Milwaukee’s Faythe Levine—to the first 100 people through Mad Planet’s door. Also on tap will be a dance contest, the winners of which will receive free VIP tickets to The Get Down’s always-incredible New Year’s Eve party at Turner Hall.
