    Grassroots Wednesdays at Miramar Theatre

De La Buena is one of the few Milwaukee bands that can play county fairs and hip rock clubs and be accepted with equal enthusiasm. It just goes to show that tight percussion, fluid improv chops, and big, blustery melodies drawing on Latin, Afro-Cuban, and jazz music appeal to pretty much everybody. Hopefully that will carry over to the group’s forthcoming album, which De La Buena started recording in March.
