Milwaukee’s Fable And The World Flat is a self-described “beat heavy pop quintet” that applies heavy doses of funk and sunshine to the old post-rock formula, resulting in disjointed grooves that move like wallflowers suddenly come to life on the dance floor. It was an eventful summer for the band, which finished its debut full-length, Ladies And Gentlemen…, after working on the album for a year, as well as added two new members, bassist Paul Fleming and keyboardist Nick Perow.
