JT And The Clouds, The Vega Star, and The Record Low at Cactus Club
Justin Rolbiecki took his time getting to The Vega Star’s latest album, The Night. First, he reconvened the Milwaukee band in 2007 following a two-year hiatus, taking time off to write new songs and recruit new musicians. Then he spent another couple of years getting the latest version of The Vega Star into fighting shape. Finally, he stepped into the studio to make The Night, a dark-hued Americana record that carves a lonely path through a landscape of lost love and haunted souls. It took a while, but The Night was worth the wait, as the band should demonstrate here in a live setting.
