Listening Party Records Launch Party at Cactus Club
When Milwaukee's Decibully was dropped by label Polyvinyl after the band turned in its latest record, World Travels Fast, the album was caught in an extended state of flux. For a year the only way to hear World Travels Fast was to go online at milwaukee.avclub.com, where it went up for streaming at the end of 2008. But now the album is set for a proper release on Listening Party Records, a new label started by Decibully's Nicolas Sanborn and Andrew Menchal specializing in silkscreened vinyl releases and downloads. The label's download website goes live the same day as this launch party, which will include DJ sets by Sanborn and Menchal and a generous helping of World Travels Fast.
