The Musical Box: The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway at The Riverside Theater
The Musical Box could technically be described as a tribute act, but what the Canadian band manages to accomplish is far more impressive than that might indicate. The Musical Box usually specializes in note-for-note recreations of Genesis concerts from the band’s theatrical, Peter Gabriel-fronted era. Using vintage equipment (as well as costumes, lights, and props), they tackle such sacred cows as Selling England By The Pound and The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. Following the current tour, The Musical Box has announced it will retire The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway show forever.
