Once upon a time, knowing the difference between a phaser and a blaster was a one-way ticket to a bubbler ride. These days, there are people who not only find those sorts of distinctions sexy, but want to meet someone who they can duel with in a battle of Doctor Who trivia. Nerds@Heart is an event featuring people who think sharing geeky interests is a better way to meet a mate than screaming over a thumping baseline. The atmosphere is pressure-free over rounds of games like Apples To Apples and Taboo mixed in between trivia, activities, and prize giveaways. Even if love escapes this round, going home with some squirrel underwear or a potato gun is a decent consolation prize. Themed drink specials designed to amuse and inebriate round out the event.
