One Man Star Wars Trilogy at Marcus Center for the Performing Arts

The recent announcement that Lucasfilm had been sold to Disney left most Star Wars fans as slack-jawed as Luke Skywalker dangling one-armed from a Bespin radio tower. Only something with such a deep grip on popular culture could make the Internet explode in a mix of denial, anger, and Disney-princess memes. But while fans around the world can quote the movie backwards and forwards, only Charles Ross came up with the bright idea to do it professionally. His One Man Star Wars Trilogy is just that: a solo recreation of the original trilogy, complete with all the characters, various sound effects, occasional trivia, and the singing of the iconic John Williams score. Jar Jar Binks and references to “Life Day” are thankfully not included.
