    The Saltshakers at Club Garibaldi

Before heading into the studio to record 2009’s Lights Out, Chad Curtis of The Saltshakers essentially re-made his band. But even if the personnel was different, Lights Out was still very much a continuation of The Saltshakers’ 2007 effort, Up All Night, leaning heavily on sugary power-pop songs that sound like Weezer with a brain transplant. Tonight, the band celebrates its 10th anniversary as well as the release of a new album, Halley. Clearly, The Saltshakers have a few more tricks up their sleeves.
