Slightly Stoopid and Tribal Seeds at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom
Slighty Stoopid’s mellow reggae rock is a lazy stoner’s dream come true. After being discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell, the band has released a slew of studio and live albums, and crisscrossed the country while touring an average of 200 days a year since 1996. In summer 2010, the band got pseudo political by hosting a Legalize It Tour, which, in addition to the usual live show, promoted the legalization of the herb that is so dear to the band’s heart. Perhaps due to the country’s slowly changing opinions on that mystery herb, the group’s latest album, 2012’s Top Of The World, peaked at a career-high #13 on the Billboard 100.
