Ace guitarist and all-around foxy lady Annie Clark—known to indie-rock nerds as St. Vincent—has become something of an honorary Milwaukee citizen the last few years. After opening up for The National in 2007 at Pabst Theater, she returned for a headlining show and a supporting gig for Andrew Bird in 2009. Now she’s back for the fourth time in just under two years, a year after the release of her great 2009 album Actor, which is full of baroque, broken-doll chamber-pop cut through with Clark’s charmingly sly wordplay.
