The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! may well be on some kind of death-wish mission to draw the heat away from every recent band that's been accused of being too freakin’ adorably post-modern. That said, the band approaches its mix of flailing synth-pop, performance-art, and crowd participation with an abandon that should be admired rather than mocked. Singer/mastermind Neil Fridd’s live gimmicks include dressing up in a suit made of stuffed animals, arming audience members with plastic swords, and just generally turning shows into bizarro Halloween-slumber-party freakouts. Oh, and the title of the Pigeons’ first full-length for Luaka Bop? I Love You. I Love You And I’m In Love With You. Have An Awesome Day! Have The Best Day Of Your Life!.
