A collection of well-known Riverwest artists, This Is Indian Land is another solid player in the organic folk-rock genre. The track “Dark Carnival” plays out with foot-stomping swagger and includes vocals that sound like a wandering gypsy poet articulating dark scenes behind a sparse, gangly rhythm. “Down At The Bullhorn” is an unabashed anthem that sings the praises of whiskey and country girls with tight jeans.
