A “live mash-up” event conceived by Tarik Moody of Radio Milwaukee and DJ John Goelzer (a.k.a. BTS.WORKING) of WMSE, Unlooped, is a new monthly electronic music series featuring collaborations with Milwaukee artists from various genres. Last month’s inaugural installment featured put Nick Sanborn (Decibully, Headlights, Made Of Oak) together with singer-songwriter Jeanna Salzer and DJ-producer Rory Sazma. This month features a similar range of conspirators, with Dave Olson of hip-hop group The Figureheads making music with The Championship’s Allen Cote over visuals by VJ Brye of The Black Hoodies. J-Slim of DJ crew Trauma House will also perform a multi-media set.
