Hooligan’s started as a corner tap, but its reputation as an eatery has grown along with its menu. While it still serves burgers (including ostrich and garden) and fried foods, it’s expanded to include simple yet unconventional dishes like quesadillas with cheese, portobello mushroom, or barbecued shrimp; and several varieties of salad and chicken. Hooligan’s extensive selection of libations complements the menu nicely. Eat downstairs in the bar and enjoy several televised sports events simultaneously (along with the resultant whoops), or retire to the more sedate upper level.
