Mo’s Irish Pub is primarily a bar, and, as such, it serves bar food, including fries, burgers, chicken tenders, wings, and a thick black beer favored by seals and toucans. But for a proper dinner (rather than a pre-bar pit stop) the Pub’s “traditional fare” is surprising. The Americanized shepherd’s pie swaps lamb for tenderloin before piling on the veggies and gravy. Even better are the boxties, potato-pancake omelets stuffed with sausage, shrimp, and grilled chicken. The dark, worn hardwood that dominates the two-story interior adds old-world charm to every bite (and every pint).
