Local Newswire Crash weddings like Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson with a handy new app

When Wedding Crashers was released, many of us wondered how John and Jeremy could logistically find so many details about private weddings.  rashing the reception of an academic’s daughter at Hart House might have seemed near impossible in 2005, but hold your breath no more—there’s now an app for that. Crash Corsage, the world’s first wedding crash app, is the best advancement in e-stalking since Facebook.

After entering your location, Crash Corsage searches the public directories of personal wedding websites for upcoming weddings. The app then takes the important details of the wedding receptions (like location, dress code, and the couple’s history) and packages everything into a valuable cheat sheet to simplify the crashing experience. With all of the couple’s personal information at your fingertips, there’s no need to worry about mentioning any deceased Aunt Liz.

Once at the wedding, crashers can check in on their phones and earn points for different feats achieved at the reception. Crash Corsage may be—and hopefully is—the only app that awards points for “coital encounters with guests.” This point system allows users to compete with crashers around the country to see who can win the title of most successful wedding crasher, alternatively known as world’s biggest creep.

And yes, it is being developed to be work in Canada, too. “If there's a wedding announcement in Canada, we're aiming to have it covered,” creator Eric Schlakman told us. “Global vs. Domestic (USA) listings is a technical bouquet that we're trying to catch; we've had others contact us about including results from their home countries as well.”
