Nashville

Another TV season ends, and Modern Family is there to send us sailing off into the summer. Also: Season finales for The Middle and Nashville, and the return of the B---- in apartment 23.

Arrow ends a goofy, over-the-top season in goofy, over-the-top fashion, just as we hoped it would. Also: The Hecks ditch school on The Middle, and the Stanley Cup playoffs move forward.

At least they have superheroes and... Adam Goldberg?

If only Nick Fury were around to tell us to hold onto to our butts…

ABC, which waited until the last possible moment to pick up or cancel any of its series, has been announcing its pickups all afternoon long, in irritating, haphazard fashion, via Twitter.

If this season of Nashville somehow doesn't end with Juliette Barnes destroying all in her path, we will be highly disappointed. Also: Modern Family visits the roller rink!

The Americans ends its first season, and we offer up a firm "Nyet!" to all who doubt its awesomeness. Also: The Stanley Cup playoffs begin, and ABC's comedies return.

It's Modern Family, so you know wacky hijinks are certain to ensue! Also: Nashville expands the role of our least favorite character, Americans get tense, and college guys swim and dive.

Arrow leads off a night positively crammed with new TV, including several debuts, new ABC comedies, a Survivor where people eat braaains, and the return of The Americans.

Psych celebrates its 100th episode with an homage to the cult classic movie version of Clue. Also: ABC's family comedies are back, and Nova goes meteor hunting in Russia.

It's time for another season of Top Chef to end. Which chef will be on top? You'll have to wait and see. Also: The Americans have lots of sexy sex, and Guys With Kids ends its run, most likely.

Wednesdays, an already crowded TV night, get even more complicated with the return of Southland. Also: Survivor is back, and we do not enjoy the air travel experience.

Tonight's Supernatural has something to do with Hitler, so we, naturally enough, are recommending it. Also: ABC's comedies are all new, and Mike Tyson is on SVU.

We begin our TV Club Classic coverage of Canada's greatest (and only?!) drama series, Slings & Arrows. Also: The end of another American Horror Story and drones on Nova.

Comedy Central hopes it can persuade you to watch Kroll Show by sticking it after Workaholics. Also: The Middle tries a fun structural gambit, and the Suez Canal gets distorted.

We all once had such high hopes for Nashville, but now we're to the point where we just expect tonight's return to dash them all over again. Also: Celebrity high diving!
