It’s been a good month for Arcade Fire: The Suburbs is the No. 1 album in the country (a first for label Merge), and the band recently thrilled crowds with headlining gigs at Madison Square Garden and Lollapalooza, not to mention last night’s performance on The Daily Show. And now comes a string of dates for the Montreal band’s fall North American tour. The run kicks off in St. Paul at—sigh—everyone’s favorite gymnasium-like venue, Roy Wilkins Auditorium, before arcing through Canada and down the West Coast into Mexico. Details including openers, ticket prices, and on-sale dates are yet to come, but here’s the schedule of newly announced shows:
