Cheapskating: $1 sandwiches at Jimmy John’s
Union-busting? What union-busting?
Remember that whole nasty incident a couple of weeks ago when Jimmy John’s employees were protesting for better pay and benefits? You do? Well, the sandwich chain is hoping to change that. Today from 11-3 at all Minneapolis locations, the company will do its best to take your mind off its disgruntled employees (who are currently in the process of making their new union official) with tasty $1 sandwiches. Is Jimmy John’s just flooding its shops with more work than usual to stick it to the union members? It seems like it. So if you decide to take advantage of the deal, be sure to say “thank you” and maybe offer a supportive fist bump. Or don’t go, because seriously, screw that place.
