Just Announced Deer Tick will play Triple Rock Nov. 12

Fans of raucous and raw rock, rejoice! Rhode Island’s finest, Deer Tick, is headed out on the road this fall to promote its newest album, Divine Providence. The record is due Oct. 25 and the band’s promising nothing less than a “raw and spontaneous kerosene blaze” of an album, in case the relatively laid-back, piano-driven balladry of The Black Dirt Sessions left you wishing for more crazy, unhinged Tick rave ups. The tour kicks off in the band’s hometown of Providence, Rhode Island almost two weeks before the album hits, and Deer Tick will no doubt tear up various venues across the country and leave everyone sweaty and half out of their heads by the end of it.
