Esquire names Al's, Hell's Kitchen two of the nation's best breakfast spots

A little love from the national press for two certainly deserving local eateries: Legendary Dinkytown nook Al's Breakfast and funky downtown joint Hell's Kitchen were named in Esquire magazine's recent feature "The 59 Best Breakfast Places in America." Al's is cited for its buttermilk pancakes, a decision we can't disagree with, though we're more partial to the "3 Egg Leonard" omelet. Hell's Kitchen gets the shoutout for their bison-sausage bread (available via mailorder!), and of course the great Ralph Steadman artwork adorning the walls.
What's missing from from their list? Mickey's Diner, maybe? Bad Waitress? Leave a comment below and share your thoughts.
