In Character: Titanic re-enactors
Unemployment stats be damned, there's still work for fake Brits on a nostalgic death ride
Acting in a play is one thing. Spending an eight-hour museum shift in the role of a person who boarded a doomed ocean liner nearly 100 years ago is, well, something else. Such is the task for a small army of actors participating in Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, running through Jan. 3 at the Science Museum Of Minnesota. The A.V. Club spent an afternoon with a few of these re-enactors—in and out of character—and found them to be far more congenial than that richy-rich asshole Billy Zane. Click below and see for yourself.
