Interview: Mike Fotis

Mike Fotis

The upcoming Minnesota Fringe Festival is a prime outlet for many of the area's funniest people. One such funny person is Chicago expat Mike Fotis, a comedian—don't call him an actor— who has spent the better part of a decade flailing and shouting his way to prominence in the burgeoning Twin Cities improv scene. (Fotis and longtime collaborator Joe Bozic perform regularly at local venues as Ferrari McSpeedy.) For this year's Fringe, Fotis will appear solo in the latest installment of his Intimate Evening With Fotis series, a Spalding Gray-style set of stories and rants about life, Minnesota, and his new dog. The A.V. Club turned on its magical moving picture recorder and got acquainted with Fotis in the flesh. Have a look:
