Jayhawks reuniting for Basilica Block Party

Welcome news for fans of homegrown roots-rock: This year's annual Basilica Block Party festival will feature a proper reunion set by The Jayhawks on July 10, according to the concert-tracking website pollstar.com. Founding co-leaders Gary Louris and Mark Olson ought to be be fully primed for the occasion, having toured behind their excellent duo set, Ready For The Flood, since its January release—and peppering those shows with a handful of the 'Hawks sweetest tunes. Tickets for the Block Party are not yet on sale (and in fact the festival's website still has last year's information on it), but undoubtedly more updates will be available soon. Keep an eye on Decider for further lineup confirmations and ticketing details.
The 'Hawks also have another gig lined up on May 30, acording to Pollstar, but you'll need to be sure your passport's in order: It's in Barcelona, Spain.
