Local Newswire Jerry Seinfeld adds another Orpheum show to his tour schedule

People love Jerry Seinfeld. Or, maybe more accurately, people love Seinfeld. And while the legendary funnyman has moved on to bigger and better things (you know, Bee Movie), his angry fans have been imprisoned in an endless loop of TV references from 1998. Currently, he’s on another of his taxing stand-up tours, and despite the fact that Seinfeld hasn’t had a new episode in 13 years, the public’s hunger for comedy about nothing may be more rabid than ever. “It never ends!” Seinfeld must scream at the mirror every night. And so, after quickly selling out both of his previously planned shows at the Orpheum Theater, the haggard veteran comedian has added another Minneapolis date to his grueling tour schedule, just for the fans.

Tickets for the new show, which is slated for the evening of Nov. 18, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, at which point hundreds of pitiless people sipping from mugs that say “Newman…” will crash the Ticketmaster servers in a mass grab for the small pieces of paper. And on the night of the show, poor ol’ Seinfeld will trudge down the red carpet as fans hurl ruffled white shirts at him, all the time shrieking, “MULVA! HAHAHA! SHRINKAGE! HOHOHO! SOUP NAZI! TEE-HEE!” And after the soul-crushingly long and difficult tour is finally over, all Jerry “America’s Doormat” Seinfeld will have to go home to will be a loving family and hundreds of millions of dollars, the sorry bastard.
